Hi, I’m Phil Kurczewski,
Nobody has to tell us that times are tough. Every day, our families and neighbors struggle to make ends meet. Every day, our jobs and our kids leave Michigan while the politicians in Lansing cut our schools an give tax breaks to corporations and special interests.
Those aren’t our priorities. We want our state to prepare our kids for jobs in the 21st century economy and help our middle class families grow and thrive. We need Lansing to work for us. After a lifetime in the manufacturing industry, my job disappeared and I had to go back to school. I became a mediator and arbitrator and opened my own business right here in Macomb County. Now, I want to use my skills to resolve conflicts and build consensus in the State House.
Partisan politics are killing our hopes for an economic recovery. We make Michigan a better place to raise a family and do business when we bring people together, to develop common sense solutions to common problems. As a negotiator and small business owner, I will work for bipartisan solutions to get Lansing working again.
I want to hear what you would change in Lansing. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas on how we can get Michigan moving again.
